The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu will soon recover and stabilize his health.

As reported, at around 3:45 p.m. on November 13, Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu (born in 1992) was on duty at Củi Market Temple when he discovered Tran Trong Gia Bao (born in 1997, in Village 1, Xuan Hong Commune) suspected of illegally trading drugs with another person, so he approached to catch him red-handed. However, unexpectedly, Tran Trong Gia Bao used scissors to stab Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu in the neck.

After the incident, the Xuan Hong Commune Police force and local people took Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu to Vinh City General Hospital (Nghe An) for emergency treatment, and arrested Tran Trong Gia Bao and brought him to the headquarters for investigation and clarification.

It is known that due to heavy blood loss, with the support of teammates and people, and timely blood supply, Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu has overcome the critical stage. Comrade Tran Trung Hieu was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for further treatment.
