After the March meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments, branches and localities of Nghe An to focus on resolving 10 recommendations from the business community. To date, 6 issues have been answered and guided for handling; 4 issues are in the process of being resolved.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung provided general information on the socio-economic situation of Nghe An in the first 9 months of the year. Despite many difficulties, the province has maintained a stable and positive growth rate in all 5 areas: Growth rate; budget revenue; investment attraction; public investment disbursement; sharing and support for northern localities affected by storm No. 3. These results have important contributions from local businesses.

In the first 9 months of the year, the number of newly registered businesses reached 22% but the number of dissolved businesses increased by 27%, and the number of businesses temporarily suspended operations was 10%. Therefore, it is hoped that departments, branches, sectors and localities need to share and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses.

Regarding the 4 remaining issues in the previous meeting and 8 new issues proposed at this meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assigned specific tasks to the localities: Hung Nguyen, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Hoang Mai town, Vinh city and relevant departments and branches according to their authority, to coordinate to resolve them; Focus on issues such as planning, calculating land rental prices, construction permit procedures, site clearance, resolving shortcomings and problems in fire prevention and fighting at industrial clusters.
