Notably competing in this tournament will be the strongest kickboxing athletes in the country, including many SEA Games champions.
They are Huynh Van Tuan (HCMC), champion of 2 SEA Games 2019, 2022; Nguyen Quang Huy (Hanoi) - champion of SEA Games 31; Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy (Hanoi) - champion of SEA Games 32 or Nguyen Hoang (Dak Lak) - champion of SEA Games 32.

In addition to the fierce competition of top stars, the tournament will feature exciting competition from young athletes - considered the new hope of Vietnamese kickboxing. Young stars such as 17-year-old Hoang Dinh Manh (Hanoi) who just won the national kickboxing club championship, held in Vung Tau last March, promise to bring exciting competitions.

This year's tournament has the participation of more than 300 athletes from 40 provinces/cities across the country, considered a valuable opportunity for national team scouts to review their forces and add the best members to the national kickboxing team to prepare for the Asian kickboxing championship held in Cambodia next October.

Despite showing superior strength, the Hanoi kickboxing team will certainly face some competition in defending their top position.

Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation has also prepared and is ready for the goal of winning 2-3 gold medals at the tournament. Delegations with kickboxing movements that have developed in recent years, such as the Tay Ninh delegation, are also ready to compete in the tournament, creating exciting competitions.

The tournament is also organized to develop the kickboxing training movement nationwide. At the same time, it tests and evaluates the capacity and professional level of the referee team, management staff, and staff serving the organization of domestic competitions. Athletes will compete in the weight categories of Lowkick and Fullcontact.
