According to Decree No. 38, the monthly minimum wage is being applied from July 1, 2022 to December 30, 2023 in 4 regions: Region 1 is 4,680,000 VND/month; Region 2 is 4,160,000 VND/month; Region 3 is 3,640,000 VND/month and Region 4 is 3,250,000 VND/month.

Regarding the minimum hourly wage, region 1 is 22,500 VND/hour, region 2 is 20,000 VND/hour, region 3 is 17,500 VND/hour, region 4 is 15,600 VND/hour.

Hanoi

Refer to the appendix issued with Decree 38 which stipulates the minimum wage of regions and areas in Hanoi city as follows:

Region I includes the following districts: Gia Lam, Dong Anh, Soc Son, Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin, Hoai Duc, Thach That, Quoc Oai, Thanh Oai, Me Linh, Chuong My and Son Tay town.

These areas will be subject to a monthly minimum wage of VND 4,680,000/month and an hourly minimum wage of VND 22,500/hour.

Region II, including the remaining districts of Hanoi city. These areas will be applied a monthly minimum wage of VND 4,160,000/month and an hourly minimum wage of VND 20,000/hour.

HCMC

Districts and cities in Ho Chi Minh City receiving the minimum wage of region I include: Thu Duc City; Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh, Nha Be districts; districts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, Binh Tan, Binh Thanh, Go Vap, Phu Nhuan, Tan Binh, Tan Phu.

Can Gio district receives the minimum wage of region II.

Danang

The minimum monthly wage in Region II is 4,160,000 VND, the minimum hourly wage is 20,000 VND. This level is applied to the following districts: Hai Chau, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Thanh Khe, Lien Chieu, Cam Le; Hoa Vang district, Hoang Sa island district.

Hai Phong

Region I : Minimum monthly wage is 4,680,000 VND, minimum hourly wage is 22,500 VND. Applicable to the following districts: Duong Kinh, Hong Bang, Hai An, Do Son, Ngo Quyen, Le Chan, Kien An; Thuy Nguyen, An Duong, An Lao, Vinh Bao, Tien Lang, Cat Hai, Kien Thuy.

Region II: Minimum monthly wage is 4,160,000 VND, minimum hourly wage is 20,000 VND, applicable to: Bach Long Vi district.

Bac Ninh

Region II: Minimum monthly wage is 4,160,000 VND, minimum hourly wage is 20,000 VND. Applicable to Bac Ninh city, Tu Son; Que Vo, Tien Du, Yen Phong, Thuan Thanh, Gia Binh, Luong Tai districts.

Binh Duong

The monthly minimum wage in region I is 4,680,000 VND, the hourly minimum wage is 22,500 VND, applicable to Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An, Di An; Ben Cat town, Tan Uyen; and the districts of Bau Bang, Bac Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng, and Phu Giao.

Dong Nai

The regional minimum wage in Dong Nai is determined by region I, region II and region III depending on each area.

Specifically, the cities of Bien Hoa, Long Khanh and the districts of Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Xuan Loc will have a minimum wage of VND4,680,000; the minimum hourly wage is VND22,500/hour.

Dinh Quan and Thong Nhat districts in Dong Nai province have a minimum monthly wage of VND 4,160,000/month; the minimum hourly wage is VND 20,000/hour.

The remaining districts of Dong Nai province are 3,640,000 VND/month; 17,500 VND/hour.
