House fire in alley in district 12, Ho Chi Minh City

On February 2, District 12 Police (HCMC) investigated the cause of the house fire in Hiep Thanh ward.

At more than 6 p.m. the same day, smoke and fire broke out from a house in an alley on Hiep Thanh 01 Street, Hiep Thanh Ward. At that time, there was no one inside the house.

Some neighbors later discovered the fire and shouted, trying to put it out together, but initial efforts were unsuccessful.

Because there were many flammable objects in the house, the fire flared up fiercely, and the column of smoke rose high.

District 12 Fire Police mobilized officers and soldiers to count the scene. Police then broke down the door and used a water hose to put out the fire.

The fire destroyed many properties. The cause is under investigation by authorities.
