(NLDO) - The Vietnam Cycling and Motor Sports Federation has warned about bicycle racing tournaments showing signs of impersonation to collect fees from participants.

According to records, recently on social networking platforms and some unofficial information channels, there have been invitations to participate in cycling races under the name "licensed by the Vietnam Cycling - Motor Sports Federation".

However, when checking the Federation's official website and media channels, there is absolutely no authentic information about these tournaments.

These fake Fanpages often post false information, offer attractive prizes that are not real, and ask participants to pay fees or provide sensitive personal information, seriously affecting the reputation of the Federation and the rights of participants.

The Federation representative emphasized: "All official tournaments organized or co-organized by the Federation are publicly announced on the official website: https://liendoanxedapmoto.org.vn/ and the official Fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/vcfchannel . Tournaments that do not appear here may be fake tournaments or have signs of fraud."

The Federation also recommends that the cycling community, especially those who regularly participate in amateur competitions, be careful and verify information carefully before registering.

Being gullible can lead to losing money or being taken advantage of by bad guys for personal gain.
