Ward officials in Da Nang trained to use AI to handle administrative procedures

On July 8, 89 officials of the People's Committee of Hoa Cuong Ward ( Da Nang ) attended a training course on applying AI in administrative and social management.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Manh Huy - Deputy Director of the Institute of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence ABAII, founder of Rainscales Vietnam Co., Ltd. - directly "taught the class".

Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Chairman of Hoa Cuong Ward People's Committee - said that the ward has just been established and officially put into operation under the 2-level local government model. This is an important turning point, and at the same time, it also sets urgent requirements in building a modern, transparent, effective administration, with people as the center of service.

According to Mr. Dung, to manage a civilized city, smart data is needed. To serve people better, better decision support tools are needed. And AI - with the ability to analyze, learn and make optimal suggestions - will be a "virtual administrative assistant", helping ward officials reduce paperwork, improve the quality of public services, and effectively monitor social issues.

The support of experts will help ward officials understand the practical applications that AI can bring to their daily work, from receiving feedback and recommendations from people to processing documents, managing food safety, household registration, etc.

According to records, at the reception and result delivery department of the Hoa Cuong Ward Public Administration Service Center, there are 14 transaction counters to handle administrative procedures for the people.

This area is spacious and airy, with automatic number machines, cool air conditioning, waiting chairs, tables, and drinking water to serve the people. Along with that, there are staff and young volunteers on duty to guide.

On July 8, many people came here to do the procedures and were enthusiastically guided by staff and volunteers.

Hoa Cuong Ward People's Committee said that on average, 450 people/day come to carry out administrative procedures.
