In recent years, Cam Pha City has paid great attention to preserving and promoting the cultural values of mine workers, historical relics, and traditional festivals in the area.

Currently, in Cam Pha City, there are 25 relics, including 1 special national relic, 3 national relics, 5 provincial relics and 16 relics that have been inventoried and classified. Cua Ong Temple was recognized by the Prime Minister as a special national relic at the end of 2017. A detailed planning project has been implemented for the items of restoration of Trung Temple, relocation, construction of Tran Quoc Tang monument, construction of Trong tower, and auxiliary technical infrastructure with a budget of over 15 billion VND. The site clearance work, the stele house recording the names of martyrs of Cua Ong ward and auxiliary items of the Cua Ong Temple special national relic area are worth over 300 billion VND. The item of restoration of Ca Temple with a total investment of over 15 billion VND from socialized sources.
Cam Pha City is renovating the Cam Hai Communal House Relic Complex with a total investment of over 10 billion VND from socialized sources. At the same time, it is coordinating with units of the Coal Industry to manage the relic site where Uncle Ho visited Deo Nai Mine with a value of over 10 billion VND. Other relics are also being cared for, restored, and regularly repaired with socialized sources.
In addition to the restoration work, the management of relics is of interest and improvement to Cam Pha City. In particular, the city has improved the Management Board of the special national relic of Cua Ong - Cap Tien Temple in December 2019 as a public service unit under the management of the city. Other relics in the area have established management boards, assigned specific tasks to each member, organized management to ensure safety, and basically promoted the cultural value of the relics.
In 2021, Cam Pha City directed the specialized department to coordinate with consulting units to develop the Project "Management, conservation, restoration and promotion of the value of relics and scenic spots in the city until 2025, vision 2030". This aims to provide an information system on cultural resources to serve the management of relics. At the same time, develop a long-term plan to manage, conserve and promote the value of relics and scenic spots, thereby creating a driving force for urban and service tourism development, building a green and sustainable Cam Pha City in the future.
Regarding intangible cultural heritage, the city always pays attention to the preservation of traditional festivals such as Cua Ong Temple Festival and Cam Hai Communal House Festival. In particular, Cua Ong Temple Festival has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage since 2016. The management, preservation and organization of festivals have promoted historical values, paid tribute to and commemorated the contributions of those who have contributed to the people and the country; are an opportunity for each person to express the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; arouse national pride, compassion and civic responsibility towards the homeland and country and honor traditional cultural values, preserve, embellish and promote the value of cultural heritage.
For the San Diu people's soong co singing, or the intangible cultural heritages of ethnic minorities, the Kinh people's ancient cheo singing, traditional occupations, folk knowledge such as: Rao to tom diem, tem trau canh phuong, valuable medicinal recipes... are also respected.

According to the inventory, there are 40 intangible cultural heritages in the city. From 2018 to now, the city has established 5 folk art clubs to teach younger generations to learn and preserve traditional culture. Specifically: Quang Hanh Ward established 2 Soong Co singing clubs, Duong Huy Commune has 1 Soong Co singing club; Cam Binh and Cam Trung Wards have established folk song clubs with a total of 114 members.
