Localities take advantage of the entire area of ​​freeways, public places, historical and cultural relics, mounds in the fields... to plant trees for timber, shade, flowers, ornamental plants and fruit trees.

Tan Truong commune alone strives to plant 5,000 trees this year, continuing to be the locality with the most trees in the district. The commune maintains and renovates flower roads in Mai Trung, Tan Ky, Trang Ky villages; completes trees in hamlet parks in Quy Duong village...

In 2023, Cam Giang district planted 61,000 trees, including 31,000 fruit trees and 30,000 timber trees. The district converted 23 hectares of ineffective rice cultivation land to specialized cultivation of some high-value fruit trees, flowers, ornamental plants... concentrated in the communes of Cam Van, Cam Vu, Dinh Son, Cao An.
