Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day (AI4VN 2023) has the theme "Power for life" with four main activities: AI workshop; AI Summit; AI Expo; CTO Summit 2023 - honoring companies with the best technology environment.

The opening session on September 21 featured the Government AI Readiness Index 2022 report, presented by Mr. Pablo Fuentes Nettel - Senior Consultant at Oxford Insights. This was followed by discussions on future AI applications, practical implementation experiences in Korea, mastering generative AI... through the perspectives of experts from VinBigdata, Naver, VNPT, and Aqua.

The business forum took place in the afternoon of the same day. Leaders of VNPT, Base, AI Software FPT in Canada brought outstanding AI solutions for each specific industry such as: business management, operational optimization, AI generation... Experts from Heineken, VNPT, FPT will discuss and suggest initial experiences to help Vietnamese businesses not miss out on the AI ​​trend.

The above giants also brought outstanding AI solutions to the stage, demonstrating how technology increases work efficiency and optimizes user experience.

Before that, the festival kicked off with a series of three workshops on the afternoon of September 21. Leaders of Viettel, VUNO, GeneStory, AI Next Global, and the President of the FISU Club will present trends in applying artificial intelligence in the fields of finance, healthcare, and artificial intelligence in businesses.

Also on the afternoon of September 21, a workshop co-organized by the British Embassy with the theme "Responsible use of artificial intelligence" lasted from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Thu Lam, Vice President and General Secretary of the Faculty-School Club - Vietnam Institute of Information and Communications Technology (FISU), commented that AI has recently made remarkable developments. This can be seen through AI4VN over the past five years.

According to the associate professor, like any other technology, AI can only be successful and meaningful if it is widely applied and supports life. This year, the AI4VN organizing committee has chosen topics that reflect the strong influence of technology.

Mr. Lam added that from the festival, individuals, organizations, and businesses can update the latest technology in the world as well as in Vietnam, and practical applications for AI to improve life. From the stage to the stands, units can easily share solutions, platforms, systems, and experiences in implementing AI with partners and the community. This is also an opportunity to connect and find partners for practical problems.

Throughout the two-day event, domestic and foreign companies and corporations will showcase a series of artificial intelligence application solutions at the AI ​​Expo area. The exhibition space has 30 booths, AI Show demonstrations, and recruitment activities.

AI4VN 2023 is scheduled to take place on September 21-22 at Riverside Palace, 360D Ben Van Don, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The program is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized by VnExpress newspaper in coordination with the Information and Communication Technology - Faculty - Institute - School Club (FISU). Over the past 5 years, AI4VN has attracted more than 10,000 participants, more than 100 speakers to discuss the development of a sustainable AI ecosystem in Vietnam.
