The first season of the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament has officially ended with the championship title belonging to Hue University. Following the convincing victory over Thuy Loi University in the final match in Ho Chi Minh City, the defending champion had a grand victory celebration with the event "Energy Explosion - Honoring the Champion" organized by TCP Vietnam Company and Red Bull brand - the tournament's companion at the end of April.

On this occasion, Thanh Nien sat down with TCP Vietnam General Director Nguyen Thanh Huan to listen to him share about this very special student football tournament, as well as upcoming plans in the journey to energize the vibrant and enduring king sport of TCP Vietnam and the Red Bull brand.

* The Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament has officially ended with many impressive results. How do you feel now, sir?

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan: Good football matches - whether in amateur, semi-professional, or professional tournaments - always bring us extremely refreshing and passionate emotions.

That was also my feeling when watching the matches of the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament, as well as the friendly match between talented strikers of Hue University and two star players Nguyen Tien Linh and Que Ngoc Hai - the match was held within the framework of the ceremony to honor the Hue University team at Tu Do Stadium, Hue City recently.

As a companion of the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament, we are very happy that the first season was a great success, contributing to stirring up the sports spirit, encouraging the love of football, and helping to discover more football talents among the generation of young people and students across our country.

In every match, whether on the stands or on the field, we clearly feel the spirit of fighting and the determination of the students for the flag. The youthfulness, enthusiasm and passionate energy of the youth are what we seek and wish to contribute to fueling the fire through the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament as well as in other programs and tournaments that TCP Vietnam and Red Bull have been and are contributing to with their partners.

* From the journey of "Searching for football talents" to " Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament", TCP Vietnam and Red Bull have made remarkable efforts and contributions in searching for young football talents in school. Is this a long-term goal of TCP Vietnam, sir?

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan: Thank you for closely following the programs and activities of TCP Vietnam and Red Bull to promote football among the young generation and contribute to finding the next talented strikers for our country's football.

As you know, since the beginning of this year, we have become a partner of VFF and a leading sponsor of Vietnam national football teams. Therefore, along with the goal of energizing the national teams in international tournaments, stirring up the football movement among the young generation, helping to find new talents to supplement resources for the national team is a long-term goal of TCP Vietnam and the Red Bull brand.

This is demonstrated throughout many programs accompanying youth football that we have implemented. The wonderful thing is that the young people have never disappointed us. In the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament alone, many students have shown outstanding talent through competition.

One specific case that I had the opportunity to meet this year's in-laws is Nguyen Nhat Minh, captain of Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports - the striker who was honored as the "Top scorer" of the season.

With stable performance, many goals as well as excellent passes to help create goals throughout the season, Nhat Minh has affirmed his outstanding talent and contributed to many impressive matches at the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament.

Or Nguyen Quang Hop, named "Best Player of the Tournament" of Hue University, is also an extremely outstanding young seed. TCP Vietnam and Red Bull hope that in the future, one day they will see potential students like Nhat Minh, Quang Hop... shine in the ranks of clubs and further on the national team.
