This morning, July 19, a delegation from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) led by Party Central Committee member and Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung solemnly organized a ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, Truong Son and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam also attended.

At the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and Road 9, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam and members of the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense at the memorial and spent a minute in silence, respectfully expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs to the cause of national liberation, protecting the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

After the flower and incense offering ceremony at the central memorial, the delegates respectfully lit incense sticks on the martyrs' graves. At the same time, they visited and encouraged the staff at the cemetery management board.

With the moral of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree”, at the special national historical site of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, in a sacred and emotional atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs in the 81-day and night battle to protect the Ancient Citadel and Quang Tri town in the fiery summer of 1972, contributing to gaining independence and freedom for the Fatherland.

After the incense and flower offering ceremony at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the delegates offered incense at the Ceremony House - Flower releasing dock on the southern bank of Thach Han River and released flowers into Thach Han River to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs.
