Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien chaired the meeting.

The results of the exploration work have clarified the geological structure of the mine; assessed the quality of the ore, the technology of selecting and processing Lithium, Beryllium, and the mining conditions to ensure sufficient reliability to calculate reserves at reserve level 122 and resources level 333.

The results of the exploration work have delineated 41 Li-Be ore bodies and a number of small unlabeled lenses, of which 29 ore bodies participate in calculating reserves and resources.

The research results of the technological sample have selected, recovered and processed Lithium and Beryllium ores to commercial quality.

The results of hydrogeological and engineering geological research of the mine have divided the water-bearing units. For each water-bearing unit, the distribution area, lithological composition, thickness, hydraulic properties, static water level, and water permeability of soil and rock have been determined.

The Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Huong Hai - Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company (investor) recommend that, for the Dong Ram - La Vi area, continue to explore and upgrade reserves for the identified level 333 resource blocks in the exploration area; deploy expanded exploration in prospective, unexplored areas, identified according to the results of the project "Assessing the prospects of tin and rare metal ores (Ta, Li, Be) in the La Vi area, Quang Ngai province" implemented by the Central Central Geological Federation...

Mr. Nguyen Dac Dong - Director of the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences, the consulting unit reported at the meeting.

Contributing opinions at the meeting, some Council members said that during the design phase, the investor and the consulting unit should continue to take some representative samples of the soil and sand waste expected to be used for landfill and construction purposes to analyze and evaluate hazardous factors. At the same time, fully inventory and count the future mining output and fulfill financial obligations according to the provisions of law.

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien suggested that the investor and the consulting unit continue to research the technology of recovering and processing Lithium and Beryllium at production scale to fully determine the cost of selecting and processing commercial products; perfect the process, improve the efficiency of selecting and processing Lithium, Beryllium and construction material minerals in the direction of circular economy.

The Deputy Minister and Council members unanimously approved the report and reserves, with total reserves and ore resources of more than 1.3 million tons; total reserves and resources of Li2O of more than 6,600 tons; total reserves and resources of BeO of more than 558 tons.
