
Artists and actors of the Army Music and Dance Theater bring special art performances to serve the soldiers and the people.
As part of a series of activities to celebrate the success of the 8th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange, held in Lao Cai province; aiming to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, in mid-April, artists, actors and musicians of the Army Music and Dance Theater toured to serve soldiers and ethnic people in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces.
During the tour, 45 artists, actors and musicians of the Theater visited officers and soldiers of Regiment 254 under the Provincial Military Command, armed forces and people in the area, Bao Thang district, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province; officers and soldiers of Regiment 121 under the Yen Bai Provincial Military Command, Military Region 2.

The program was staged by the Theater with a rich and diverse repertoire, imbued with the traditional cultural colors of the ethnic groups, to convey the love for the homeland, the country, and the pride of today's young generation; besides the performances with songs that have been with us for many years, such as: Orchestral performance "Pieu Scarf", "Love Letter of the Mountain", "Unification Song"... there were also new music and dance performances composed and staged by the Theater's young talents, including: "Vietnam on a New Sunny Day", "Enthusiasm of Youth", "Proud to Be a Female Militiaman"...

The highlight of this tour program is the ensemble and solo performances of traditional musical instruments, elaborately staged by the Theater with traditional musical instruments and the performing talents of the artists and musicians, bringing new colors to the performance program serving the soldiers and people.

The performances attracted a large number of cadres, soldiers and ethnic people; many youthful and vibrant performances created excitement for soldiers and people to rush onto the stage to sing along with the artists, creating a united, friendly and warm atmosphere.
