On July 26, the Nghe An Border Guard Command sent medical forces to the flash flood area of My Ly commune to examine and distribute medicine to people to prevent and fight epidemics after the flood.

The working delegation of the Border Guard Command (BĐBP) led by Colonel Ho Quyet Thang - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Border Guard Command conducted a survey of the damage situation; inspected, directed and urged the work of overcoming the consequences of the flood at My Ly Border Guard Station.

My Ly is the area most affected and suffered the most severe consequences in the flood in July 2025. In particular, this is also the area most severely isolated due to landslides on roads, making it very difficult for forces to access.

At the same time, the Nghe An Border Guard Command and medical forces crossed forests and streams to examine and treat common diseases after floods such as digestive diseases, skin diseases, flu; and provided free medicine. The subjects focused on the elderly, children and families that suffered heavy damage and injuries in the floods.

In order to prevent epidemics, the Border Guard Medical Force also organizes propaganda and guides people to eat cooked food and drink boiled water; practice personal hygiene; urgently clean houses; clean the environment, clear sewers, and handle waste...

In addition, working groups to help people in the villages all arrange military medical staff to detect early diseases that may occur after floods.
