On June 29, a source of Thanh Nien reporter said that the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency has issued a document requesting relevant agencies, organizations and individuals in Gia Lai province to provide evidence, objects, documents and data on tree planting and care projects in the province to serve the investigation.

Accordingly, the Security Investigation Agency is investigating a case of violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences; giving and receiving bribes occurring at Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited and other provinces and cities.

To serve the investigation, the Security Investigation Agency requested the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to assign the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant agencies to provide information and documents related to tree planting and care projects; a detailed list of materials; a list of contractors participating in the project; a list of advances and payments to contractors; a detailed approved budget estimate, etc.

The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency has compiled detailed statistics on 24 tree planting and care projects in Gia Lai province that need information. Of which, Chu Prong, Duc Co, and Ia Pa districts each have 1 project; Krong Pa District and Pleiku City have 2 projects; Chu Puh District has 3 projects; Dak Po District and Chu Se District have 4 projects; and Phu Thien District has 6 projects.
