Up to now, this is the 8th crop that Song Gianh Corporation has linked the production and trading of organic rice with farmers in Ba Don town (Quang Binh province).

In the first crop in 2021, Song Gianh Corporation implemented a business linkage project of ST25 organic rice in Tien Phan village (Quang Tien commune, Ba Don town) with an area of ​​26 hectares.

To implement the rice production linkage model, Song Gianh Corporation supplies agricultural materials (fertilizers, seeds), applies modern technology to production and consumes all products (fresh rice, purchased at the field) for farmers.

In addition, the company also introduced a new product "Gianh River Organic Fertilizer" into cultivation. This product is made from natural organic materials with high organic content, along with organic nitrogen and amino acids, making it suitable for organic rice production.

Through implementation, rice plants grow well, are resistant to pests and diseases, and yield 7 tons/ha.

After the success of that crop, Song Gianh Corporation expanded its production links and purchased organic rice products from farmers in many neighboring communes.

Through the seasons, the rice plants have grown well, yielding heavy grains, and the farmers here are very excited. Song Gianh Corporation also buys all the fresh rice for the farmers.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Truong - Head of agriculture in Tien Phan village (Quang Tien commune, Ba Don town, Quang Binh province) shared: "Participating in the organic rice production and trading chain with Song Gianh Corporation, I am provided with fertilizers, seeds and do not worry about output. I have attended the training course on transferring organic production processes of Song Gianh Corporation and have somewhat grasped this farming method. At first, we were confused, but the company's technical staff "shaked our hands and showed us the way", so we gradually got used to it. Up to now, this is the 8th crop we have produced organic rice, from ST25 rice variety to Huong Binh rice variety, the rice grows and develops well, giving high yield".

Currently, Song Gianh Corporation has successfully built the brand "Song Gianh Organic Rice" from organic rice products produced according to the Corporation's process in Tien Phan village (Quang Tien commune). The product has been certified as a 3-star OCOP product.

The successful construction of the model opens up a new, close connection in agricultural production, linking the interests of farmers and businesses in a harmonious and sustainable way.

Following that success, Song Gianh Corporation expanded its area, linked rice production and organic rice trading with farmers, cooperatives and local authorities in the provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh with an area of ​​thousands of hectares and has achieved success in recent crops.

Towards the field without footprints

In the 2024 winter-spring crop, Song Gianh Corporation has cooperated with farmer Tran Duy Khanh (in Xuan Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) and the Quang Binh provincial Agricultural and Fisheries Extension Center to implement a high-quality rice production model applying mechanization associated with product consumption on an area of ​​22 hectares.

With a 22-hectare rice field, Mr. Tran Duy Khanh only hired 3 local farmers to help with planting for 300,000 VND/day, the rest of the work was done by machines. After the plow finished tilling the land, the drone of Song Gianh Corporation took off over the field to fertilize and sow.

"Using drones alone has helped me save 20% of costs, the working speed of the drone replaces 50 workers, with an area of ​​22 hectares, the drone only takes 1 day to complete the fertilization and sowing stages. In addition, using drones to sow rice with sparse and even sowing techniques helps save rice seeds. The rice plants then grow and develop well, at the end of the season the rice is heavy with grain and the company comes to buy it right in the field", farmer Tran Duy Khanh shared.

Following the success of implementing the zero-footprint agricultural model in Le Thuy district (Quang Binh province), in the summer-autumn crop of 2024, Song Gianh Corporation cooperated with the People's Committee of Ba Don town, the People's Committee of Quang Tien commune and farmers in this commune to implement the zero-footprint agricultural production model on a 4.5-hectare field. By the end of the crop, the rice in this field had a high yield, reaching 75 quintals/ha.

"In the summer-autumn crop of 2024, I cooperated with Song Gianh Corporation to apply mechanization to cultivate 3 sao 10 with Huong Binh rice variety. When harvesting, I was very happy to see the heavy rice grains, the yield is estimated at 75 quintals/ha, the company also came to buy at the field at a quite high price", farmer Hoang Van Hoa (in Tien Son village, Quang Tien commune, Ba Don town, Quang Binh province) excitedly said.

Mr. Hoang Van Ngung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Tien Commune (Ba Don Town, Quang Binh Province) said: "In the past 3 years, the locality has cooperated with Song Gianh Corporation to produce organic rice. In particular, the production of high-quality Huong Binh rice varieties in 2 villages: Tien Phan and Tien Son. Compared to the production of normal rice, the yield and quality of rice are higher and the company buys it at a high price right at the field."

"We are currently collaborating with Song Gianh Corporation to build a zero-footprint agricultural production model in Tien Son village on an area of ​​nearly 5 hectares. The process has helped farmers shorten the planting time, ensure their own safety and reduce the hardship when drones do all the work. At the end of the season, the rice yield reached the expected level and we will continue to collaborate with Song Gianh Corporation to replicate this model," Mr. Hoang Van Ngung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Tien commune (Ba Don town, Quang Binh province), shared.

Talking to PV Dan Viet, Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Head of the Economic Department of Ba Don town (Quang Binh province), said: "Implementing Action Program No. 04 of the Ba Don town Party Committee on agricultural production towards clean agriculture, organic agriculture associated with the National Target Program on new rural construction in the period of 2020 - 2025, in the past time, the Economic Department has advised the People's Committee of Ba Don town to synchronously deploy solutions to effectively implement according to the proposed resolution.

Specifically, the Economic Department has coordinated with Song Gianh Corporation, People's Committees of communes and wards, in which Quang Tien commune was chosen as the first pilot. From 7.6 hectares in the summer-autumn crop in 2021, it increased to 800 hectares in 2023 and exceeded 850 hectares in 2024. The productivity in the chain is clearly effective, always reaching 65 - 70 quintals/ha, this company also focuses on buying fresh rice right at the field for farmers.

This is the first step in bringing scientific and technical advances into agricultural production. Hopefully, in the coming time, Song Gianh Corporation will replicate the model and continue to expand production areas in other localities in the area," Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh shared.
