Accordingly, at Linh Phuoc Pagoda (Ward 11, Da Lat), authorities discovered a Korean man explaining to a group of Korean tourists and invited him to the police station for questioning.

At the police station, the man declared his name as Kim Douk (35 years old, Korean nationality), entering Vietnam on December 23, 2023 at Cam Ranh Airport (Khanh Hoa).

Since October 2023, he has been working for a travel company in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa) with a salary of 40 million VND/month. Since then, Mr. Kim Douk has been a tour guide for 3 tourist groups visiting Khanh Hoa Province and Da Lat City.

Mr. Kim Douk added that on December 26, he was assigned to welcome a group of 10 Korean tourists at Cam Ranh airport (Khanh Hoa), and on December 27, he guided the group to visit Da Lat city. According to the schedule on December 29, Mr. Kim Douk guided the Korean group back to Nha Trang.

This tour guide admitted that he came to Lam Dong to work as a tour guide but did not have a work permit or an international tour guide certificate as required.

Currently, Lam Dong province authorities have drawn up a record of the illegal tour guide's behavior and invited Mr. Kim Douk and the leaders of the travel company in Nha Trang (where he is working) to come to Da Lat to continue working after the New Year holiday.
