At the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, said that the organizing committee had received nearly 100 entries. The entries were carefully and seriously made, reflecting reality truthfully and comprehensively, conveying meaningful messages. Among nearly 100 entries, the jury highly appreciated the humanity and dedication of the journalists clearly demonstrated in each work.
At the same time, according to journalist Nguyen Thanh Tu, the content of many journalistic works is critical and oriented towards the construction and development of education in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.
Journalist Nguyen Thanh Tu cited a number of examples such as the series of articles Tran Ai Finds a Place to Teach Autistic Children ( Tuoi Tre Newspaper), Happy Schools: From International Perspective to Domestic Practice (Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio); the series of articles Rising University Tuition Fees and the Need to Adjust Student Credit Policy (author Ha Anh, Thanh Nien Newspaper)... According to journalist Nguyen Thanh Tu, all of these contribute to building the education sector of Ho Chi Minh City to increasingly develop on the path of integration.

In the end, 25 works/series of articles were awarded with 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 15 consolation prizes. The first prize was awarded to the series of articles " Tran ai tim noi giao troi tre autistic" by the group of authors Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, Tran Trong Nhan, Doan Thi Nhan, Duong Thi Lieu ( Tuoi Tre Newspaper).
