Issuing regulations on management of labor mediators

With 7 chapters and 20 articles, the Regulations on labor conciliator management stipulate the standards, appointment, reappointment, and dismissal of labor conciliators; tasks, powers, and responsibilities of labor conciliators; assignment of labor conciliators to resolve labor disputes; and evaluation of the performance of labor conciliators.

Applicable subjects include Labor Mediators; Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of districts, towns and cities; other relevant agencies, organizations and individuals.

Labor conciliators perform duties as prescribed, including conciliation of labor disputes, disputes over vocational training contracts, and support for the development of labor relations.

The task of supporting the development of labor relations in the province includes a number of activities such as supporting employees, organizations representing employees, and employers in dialogue and collective bargaining. Supporting legal advice for organizations representing employees at the grassroots level.

Participate in handling illegal strikes as assigned. Participate in collecting information on labor relations, coordinate in building a labor dispute mediation case management system.

Monitor and urge the implementation of the settlement agreement directly resolved by the labor mediator; promptly notify the mediator's management agency of any arising issues.

Support businesses in building and perfecting management tools according to labor law regulations. Monitor and support the development of labor relations in the area, industrial zones or some businesses with complex labor relations according to assignment.
