On October 25, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) informed that the unit had coordinated with the Board of Directors of Tan Tuc High School where it is suspected that someone had placed a hidden camera in the school's female restroom.

According to the initial investigation, on the afternoon of October 23, male student NQH (grade 12, Tan Tuc High School) used his phone to secretly film a female classmate in grade 11 when she went to the school cafeteria and was discovered by a student in the same class as the female student. At that time, the female student asked to delete the clip but NQH showed an indifferent attitude.

During the investigation, Binh Chanh District Police confirmed that authorities did not detect any hidden cameras at Tan Tuc High School.

During the investigation, Binh Chanh District Police confirmed that authorities did not detect any hidden cameras at Tan Tuc High School.

Seeing that H. refused to delete the clip, this student recounted the story of the male student secretly filming with a classmate named D.K. Afterwards, D.K. came to beat and demanded that NQH delete the clip in front of him.

Regarding the above incident, the Board of Directors of Tan Tuc High School invited the families of NQH and D.K. to the school for a meeting.

Here, NQH wrote a statement admitting his mistake for secretly filming his classmate, and D.K. also wrote a statement admitting his mistake for beating his classmate. However, on the night of October 23, many public groups and fake accounts appeared on social media surrounding the information that NQH secretly filmed a female student at Tan Tuc High School by installing a hidden camera in the girls' restroom, causing public confusion.

According to Binh Chanh District Police, through investigation, the authorities did not discover any hidden cameras, and during the inspection of NQH's phone, they did not discover any offensive images as posted on social networks.

"The incident caused concern for parents, students and society. From the above incident, many false rumors spread, such as NQH being transferred to a neighboring school. This information is completely fabricated because he is currently still studying at Tan Tuc High School," Binh Chanh District Police informed.
