Regarding the incident of the Department's leaders playing golf during working hours, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has reported to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang.

The next day, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting, summoned the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and related individuals, and requested a written explanation.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has directed the Department of Home Affairs, based on the above explanation, to synthesize, research, advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to handle and report to competent authorities according to regulations.

On the above basis, the province has established an inspection team to investigate signs of violations by 4 leaders including: Mr. Dang Tran Trung (Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), Mr. Dang Cong Huong (Deputy Director of the Department), Mr. Dang Cong Toan (Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works of Bac Ninh Province) and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Secretary of Yen Phong District Party Committee).

In the report sent to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province stated that in Clause 2, Article 1, Decree 71 dated September 20, 2023 stipulates that "cadres, civil servants, and public employees subject to Party disciplinary action, within 30 days from the date of announcement of the Party disciplinary decision, the agency, organization, or unit must carry out the administrative disciplinary action procedure.

Administrative discipline must be commensurate with Party discipline.

Bac Ninh province will take administrative disciplinary action against relevant individuals based on the Party's disciplinary measures, ensuring consistency and comprehensiveness.

Previously, the press reported that on October 20, which was a working day during the week, Mr. Dang Tran Trung (Director of the Department of Agriculture of Bac Ninh) played golf with 3 other people at Van Tri golf course (Dong Anh district, Hanoi).

On October 25, Mr. Trung continued to appear with Deputy Director Dang Cong Huong at FLC Ha Long golf course (Quang Ninh) to interact with a professional golfer.

A similar incident occurred on October 27 at Doi Rong Golf Course (Van Huong Ward, Do Son District, Hai Phong City). Mr. Trung and Mr. Huong played golf for many hours with Mr. Dang Cong Toan (Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Agricultural and Rural Development Works of Bac Ninh Province), some officials of the Department of Agriculture and Secretary of Yen Phong District Party Committee (Bac Ninh) Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Playing until about 5 p.m., the group of leaders and officials went to have a party and rest at Dream Dragon Resort Hotel in Dragon Hill International Tourist Area.
