The People's Committee of Bac Lieu province has just issued a plan to respond to the peak emulation campaign "500 days and nights to complete 3,000km of expressway" in Bac Lieu province.

Accordingly, the content of the peak emulation, creative labor emulation, completing on schedule, exceeding the plan, ensuring the quality of works, projects, and expressways in the province, to ensure the completion of the target of 3,000km of expressways by 2025, ensuring to meet the completion progress according to the direction of superiors.

Along with that, compete to promote administrative procedure reform, focusing on quickly resolving related procedures for contractors, overcoming inconveniences and reducing costs for investors, strictly controlling each stage and procedure to ensure compliance with legal regulations, preventing negativity and violations; strictly controlling the construction quality of contractors.

At the same time, compete in construction, provide supervision and consultancy to ensure quality, technical - aesthetic, environmental sanitation, labor safety, create landscape for the project's development space after completion; coordinate with localities to remove difficulties and obstacles related to construction materials and site clearance.

In addition, compete in research and application of science, technology, information technology, and modern management methods in design, construction, and building to improve labor efficiency, save resources and human resources.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province requested provincial departments, branches and sectors to promptly advise and propose competent authorities to issue guidelines to remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing expressway projects in localities where expressways pass through.

In particular, promptly review, abolish, reduce and simplify administrative procedures within the management scope of the industry and sector, contributing to speeding up the implementation of expressway projects.

For districts, towns and cities where the project passes through, the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee requested to be proactive and creative in resolving difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, ensuring supply and coordination of construction materials, and supporting investors and contractors in implementing projects.

"Focus on propaganda and mobilizing people in the areas where the project passes through to understand and support the project, and actively comply with the participation in site clearance in residential areas," the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee noted.

The Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee also requested contractors to enhance their sense of responsibility, mobilize human resources, machinery, and equipment, improve labor productivity, speed up project implementation progress, and ensure completion according to the committed plan.

For the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels to have initiatives and solutions to mobilize and unite union members, association members, and people to contribute ideas, labor, and land to participate in the construction and development of expressways.

In particular, organizing people to participate in activities to support site clearance and early handover to serve the construction of highways where the project passes through.
