“Vietnam Tourism Impressions”: Creative contest about unique experiences

The contest is where each person can tell their story about Vietnam. It may be just a short moment, but it is enough to inspire, desire to explore and connect with the beautiful S-shaped strip of land.

The contest "Impressive Vietnam Tourism " aims to promote and position the image of Vietnam as an attractive, quality, sustainable tourist destination with majestic nature, unique culture imbued with national identity, diverse types of tourism, resorts and increasingly improved tourism services.

"With the theme of exploring the beauty of the country, people, culture and tourist destinations of Vietnam, we expect each entry to be a unique perspective, story and experience."

Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared about the Video/clip Creation Contest "Impressions of Vietnam Tourism."

Vietnam from new perspectives

In order to promote, advertise and affirm the national tourism brand, the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with relevant units organized the Video/clip Creation Contest "Impressions of Vietnam Tourism."

In particular, in the new context, this journey will be enhanced with the application of modern technology; mobilize the creativity of the community, effectively combine resources from the state and socialization to create a useful playground for travel enthusiasts to express new ideas and perspectives; enrich the image and video database to serve national promotional campaigns, contributing to the implementation of the goals of the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2030.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared: “In the context of increasingly fierce international tourism competition, creating attractive, emotional and highly contagious media products is a key factor. Digital technology and social networking platforms have become powerful tools to help us convey the image of the country, people, culture and tourism services of Vietnam to millions, even hundreds of millions of people around the world in a very short period of time.”

The contest is on track with the digital transformation strategy of the tourism industry, taking advantage of technology, social networks and short video platforms - one of the strongest communication trends today. Thereby, the image of Vietnamese tourism will be spread quickly, directly and effectively to millions of people, especially the young generation globally.

“With the creativity of the community, unique and novel perspectives, we believe that the contest will bring a treasure trove of special videos, fully reflecting the beauty of Vietnam and its people. The contest is not only an artistic playground but also a place for each person to tell their own story about Vietnam, thereby contributing to building the Vietnamese tourism brand - a safe, friendly and attractive destination,” Ms. Hoang Lan further emphasized.

Key topics

The organizing committee representative said that they especially encourage key topics that are in line with the national tourism development orientation such as: cultural heritage, new tourism products, green tourism experiences, responsible tourism, health tourism, golf tourism, MICE tourism...

It can be seen that, in terms of brand promotion, the contest is a creative communication channel, helping to spread the image of Vietnam to the world through the language of images and sounds - the means that most easily reach people's emotions. Each entry will be like an "ambassador" contributing to bringing the message " Vietnam - A safe, attractive, different and sustainable destination" to tourists from all over the world.

This is also an opportunity for people, communities, businesses, and international tourists to participate in promoting the country's tourism. This widespread participation will create a great spreading power, while at the same time arousing love for the homeland, national pride and a sense of responsibility to preserve cultural and natural values.

The contest is where each person can tell their story about Vietnam - the story may be just a short moment, but it is enough to inspire, desire to explore and connect with the beautiful country of Vietnam.

The organizers expressed their belief that with the unlimited creativity of the community and the support of the media, the contest will create a treasure trove of unique and diverse videos and clips, fully reflecting the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam./.

Participants: The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens (living in and outside the country), foreigners living in Vietnam, and organizations operating in Vietnam.

Regulations on works: Each author/group of authors can submit a maximum of 5 clips. The works must belong to one of the following two categories: Short video - Duration no more than 60 seconds; Long video - Duration no more than 5 minutes.

Time and method of submitting entries: The Organizing Committee will accept entries from August 15 to November 15, 2025. The announcement and award ceremony is expected to be held in December 2025.
