Độc lập - Tự do - Hạnh phúc

If everyone is in a hurry, everyone will be slow.

On online forums, many young people of Gen Z affirm that their generation is the generation that has to quickly adapt. They are young people who are used to going to school, but have to quickly switch to online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Then when entering the labor market, the familiar jobs for the young generation, in addition to the professional requirements they have learned, now have additional requirements for digital life. And just as they are used to digital life, they now have to face competition from AI.

A university lecturer in economics recently shared on his personal page that although he could use AI to grade students' papers faster, he still chooses the traditional way of reading carefully as before. According to him, in some subjects, students are allowed to use AI to complete the test, and are even encouraged to be creative and apply artificial intelligence to complete the course faster...

“But everyone is in a hurry and everyone is slow. I like to apply technology to teaching to bring liveliness to students. But when grading theses, I still like to read each essay carefully, so that when receiving them, no matter what the score is, students always feel the respect from the grader, meticulously pointing out the good and bad points for them, not following a stereotype like a grading machine,” he shared.

This article quickly attracted the attention of many young people, because the priority is fast and convenient, many jobs are almost completely devoid of emotions, only remaining commands, keywords and waiting for artificial intelligence to complete. When these applications are no longer free, a part of users are almost sluggish with simple skills such as summarizing reports, writing reviews...

For creative work, AI suggestions can quickly respond to the initial idea generation part, but this suggestion is by no means new knowledge published for the first time. In fact, if abused, it can make users numb to creative emotions, and the story of copyright conflicts becomes more complicated, because the final product is synthesized from a large data warehouse, many of which are protected by Intellectual Property Law.

Adapting and grasping new technology is a necessary factor for young people to be more confident on their journey to adulthood. No one can predict where the development of technology will stop, but self-skills are still the core factor besides updating your knowledge about new technology. Going fast does not mean you are better, because in the condition of interrupted external support, have unique creations, then you can affirm your own value.
