This is an activity within the framework of AFF tournaments, including the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament, to enhance security and safety, while protecting the reputation, image and integrity of regional football.

At the meeting, AFF representatives disseminated many important contents related to preventing negativity, in which they especially emphasized regulations and mechanisms to prevent and handle acts of match-fixing, bribery of players or referees, as well as other forms of cheating. The highest goal is to ensure fairness and transparency for all matches, thereby enhancing the position of tournaments in the region.

U.23 Vietnam is advised of very important things

The organizing committee of the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament also advised team members to absolutely not participate in match-fixing, not to be tempted or bribed, not to disclose internal information, and not to collude with any outside entities for the purpose of profiteering. The AFF emphasized that anyone found involved in negative activities will face severe consequences, including legal prosecution and permanent ban from participating in football activities.

In addition to raising awareness among players, coaching staff and related parties, AFF also emphasizes the role of close cooperation with investigative agencies, police and international sports anti-fraud organizations to promptly share information and coordinate the handling of negative incidents that may arise. This is one of the key factors to enhance the effectiveness of anti-corruption work in modern football.

In addition, the meeting also disseminated fair-play regulations, emphasizing the prohibition of all acts of violence on the field, and instructing players on measures to protect themselves from the risk of encountering collisions or violent acts during competition.

This afternoon (July 16), coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will return to the training ground to continue to complete preparations for the opening match against U.23 Laos, taking place at 5:00 p.m. on July 19.
