According to the Organizing Committee, EEF 2024 attracted more than 6,000 delegates from 76 countries and territories.

The agenda is expected to cover a wide range of development issues in the Asia-Pacific region, business cooperation, primarily with China, digital security, transport, logistics, reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere and more.

Russian President Putin will fly from Ulaanbaatar to Vladivostok on September 4. As usual, he will attend the plenary session of the EEF Forum.

Sharing his views ahead of the official event, the Russian President said, “Moscow is ready for dialogue with all interested partners in the Asia-Pacific space and is committed to active interaction aimed at building a more just and democratic system of international relations, based on genuine equality, without punitive pressure and threats of force.”

Observers say that President Putin's speeches at the EEF Forum are often the subject of worldwide attention. Each time he highlights global challenges and specific problems of the Far East and calls for investment in the region.

Speaking at the EEF 2023 Forum, Russian President Putin also emphasized Moscow's focus - "The Far East is a strategic priority throughout the 21st century for Russia".

The events within the framework of EEF 2024 are divided into 7 main topics, including: New directions of international cooperation; Technologies ensuring independence; Financial value system; Russian Far East; People, Education and Patriotism; Transport and logistics: New routes; and Master planning: From architecture to economy.

In his welcome letter to the forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that over the years, the EEF has made a significant contribution to promoting constructive economic relations between Russia and countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Exchanges and discussions between representatives of government agencies, businesses and experts... have led to many initiatives and ideas, while promoting the regional agenda and developing useful joint projects.

According to the Russian leader, the Asia-Pacific region has an increasing role in international affairs and this has opened up new opportunities for effective cooperation, including within multilateral structures such as the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEU), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) or the BRICS Group of Emerging Economies.

It is expected that within the framework of the EEF 2024 forum, hundreds of important agreements will be signed in many different fields, such as trade and economy, science - technology, society, culture, telecommunications, digital economy, education, housing and public services...
