Since the beginning of 2024, the work of ensuring social security and welfare has been of interest to Hanoi City and all levels and sectors. Support activities, visits, and gift giving have been carried out fully, promptly, and to the right beneficiaries.

Statistics from the Hanoi New Rural Area Coordination Office show that by June 2024, the whole city still has 676 poor households, accounting for 0.03%; of which, in rural areas, there are 676 poor households, accounting for 0.05% of the rural population.

Currently, 7/18 districts and towns have no poor households. Specifically, Son Tay town and 6 districts including: Me Linh, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong, Thanh Tri.

Farmers' lives are constantly improving and enhancing. The average income per capita in rural areas in the most recent assessment period reached 66.01 million VND/person/year.

Also as of June 2024, the whole city has created jobs for 100,335 workers. The decision to receive voluntary insurance benefits for 24,963 cases with a support amount of 793.7 billion VND. 100% of cases requesting to receive voluntary insurance benefits were advised to find new jobs, including vocational training support for 307 people with an amount of 1.25 billion VND.
