At around 7:00 p.m. on July 6, Nong The Tai, born in 2011, residing in Bach Ngoc commune, Tuyen Quang province, was suffering from hemolytic anemia and was being treated at Ha Giang General Hospital (Tuyen Quang province) in need of an urgent transfusion of blood type B. However, because the hospital's blood reserves had run out, the patient was in critical condition.
