(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 21, the People's Committee of Le Chan district held a conference to review the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year to implement the Coordination Plan between the People's Committee of Cat Hai district, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen district and the People's Committee of Le Chan district on education and training.

Attending the conference were comrades: Bui Van Kiem, Director of the Department of Education and Training; Do Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; Pham Van Tan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Le Chan District and representatives of the People's Committee, Department of Education and Training of 3 districts.

According to the report, in the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year, the People's Committees of the three districts have paid attention to and regularly directed the education sector to effectively implement the Coordination Plan. The number and quality of exchanges, sharing, and support sessions for schools have been improved. 100% of managers and teachers from Le Chan and Ngo Quyen districts who went to the island district to provide professional and technical support are managers and teachers who are good at teaching at the district and city levels, and key staff of the district and city. The schools that have been directed to cooperate have comprehensively coordinated their activities with increasing quantity and quality.

Although there are still many difficulties in terms of geographical distance and means of transportation, professional support activities such as organizing seminars, observing classes, visiting classes, exchanging experiences, training on expertise and profession... to cultural and artistic exchange activities, physical education and sports are held regularly.

Based on the achieved results, in order to implement the Coordination Plan between the 3 districts in depth, the People's Committee of Le Chan district recommends that the districts expand the number of schools participating in supporting education and training at all 3 levels; assign the Departments of Education and Training to proactively regulate the implementation of coordination in professional work between schools on the basis of promoting the strengths of each school, helping schools increase learning opportunities and improve professional expertise in education and training.

Regarding the direction and key tasks of the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year, the People's Committees of the three districts agreed to strengthen coordination and direct schools to organize exchange activities and share experiences in management, operation, teaching expertise and student care at all levels. Focus on teaching according to the 2018 General Education Program and innovate teaching methods; measures to review for the high school entrance exam for 9th graders. Continue to direct and propose solutions to solve difficulties in the process of implementing the Plan.
