Xuan Son creates motivation

The story of Xuan Son, a striker for the Vietnamese national team, has attracted the attention of fans when he and his wife decided not to stay in Nam Dinh but to stay in Hanoi to recuperate at Vinmec Hospital. The reason was the serious injury he suffered in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final, when he broke his tibia and fibula.

During the dramatic second leg final between Vietnam and host Thailand at the AFF Cup 2024 on January 5, Xuan Son fell, resulting in a serious injury (he broke his tibia and fibula), an injury that required him to undergo a long treatment and recovery process. Currently, Xuan Son is receiving excellent medical care at Vinmec Hospital. Xuan Son will have to put aside all plans to celebrate Tet in Nam Dinh to focus on recovering his health. Xuan Son and his wife have chosen to stay in Hanoi, where he is being treated at Vinmec Hospital, a prestigious medical facility with a team of professional doctors.

Two weeks after surgery, Xuan Son is very resilient and optimistic during the recovery process. Sharing on his personal page, Dr. Ho Ngoc Minh of Vinmec Hospital said: "Working with Xuan Son is very convenient, because Son always has a cheerful, positive energy, tries very hard to comply and is easy to motivate". Xuan Son optimistically shared that he will try to recover quickly to return to the field as soon as possible, bringing joy and hope to fans.

During his recovery, Xuan Son received great attention and encouragement from fans and teammates. Especially, the mental care of his family, wife and children was indispensable, helping Xuan Son gain more strength to focus on treatment and recovery. At the same time, he was also taken care of by the medical team at Vinmec, helping him recover on schedule.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Thuy (former doctor of the Vietnam national team) said: "Xuan Son's recovery process is divided into four stages, lasting at least 6 months, with the ultimate goal of helping him train at maximum intensity and return to competition. This shows that, despite the serious injury, with the right treatment method and adherence to the recovery roadmap, Xuan Son's ability to return to the field is very high."
