Mr. Hau's family has no land for production, the couple works for hire, has 2 young children of school age, and is in difficult housing circumstances. The newly built house has an area of 40 square meters, a corrugated iron roof, and a tiled floor. The total construction cost is 70 million VND; of which, the Ward Fund for the Poor supported 60 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by family members. At the house handover ceremony, the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and local organizations gave Mr. Hau's family many meaningful gifts, congratulating the family on their new house.
Since the beginning of the year, O Mon ward has built and repaired 78 Great Unity houses for the poor and those in difficult housing circumstances, with a total value of over 3.4 billion VND.
