On the afternoon of April 21, the People's Committee, Youth Union, and Dam Ha Primary School jointly organized the Book Reading Festival and the "We Tell Uncle Ho's Stories" Contest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); and the anniversary of Vietnam Book Day April 21.
The Organizing Committee presented flowers to the teams participating in the Festival.
The Book Festival and the "We Tell Stories of Uncle Ho" Contest took place with 3 rounds, attracting the participation of 5 classes from Dam Ha Primary School.
The greeting part is performed in a dramatic form, vividly, creatively and attractively through forms such as: short skits, singing, folk songs, poems to introduce the competition team and activities to honor reading culture.
The story telling part of the book is meaningful stories about the Party, Uncle Ho, national heroes, good people, and good deeds in building and protecting the homeland.
Art book display competition, each group displays a model of art book arrangement and presents the model and creative ideas of their team.
Through 3 exciting and attractive competitions, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes to the classes participating in the Festival and awarded prizes to the classes with excellent performance in each competition.
Storytelling contest based on books with many meaningful stories about Uncle Ho and national heroes.
The Book Festival and the Contest of We Tell Uncle Ho's Stories are meaningful activities to celebrate the country's great events, honor the value of books and reading culture; to arouse the passion for reading among students; to encourage the reading movement to become a habit, a cultural beauty among all cadres, teachers, employees, and parents of students. Thereby promoting the reading movement, contributing to improving the quality of education in the period of national innovation and integration.
Through activities to propagate, introduce and promote the image and people of Dam Ha commune to friends inside and outside the commune, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on building and promoting cultural values, the strength of Quang Ninh people becomes an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development.
