The two sides also discussed the possibility of establishing a transboundary nature reserve between Dak Lak (Vietnam) and Mondulkiri (Cambodia); the annual cooperation plan between Dak Lak and Mondulkiri provinces in the coming time; and the possibility of integrating cooperation contents in forest protection and management, elephant conservation, biodiversity conservation, and management of illegal wildlife trade across the border into the annual cooperation program between the two provinces.

Regarding the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Program, the two sides will promote sustainable coffee and pepper production and emission-reducing rice farming models.
