At the press conference of the Vietnam International Beach Fashion Festival (VISFest) , the organizing committee announced supermodel Vu Thu Phuong as the program's ambassador. This is a milestone marking the return of the long-legged model from Nam Dinh after a long period of silence.

On the red carpet, Vu Thu Phuong had a reunion with her senior, supermodel Anh Thu. After the heated debates at The Face Vietnam 2023, the two still maintain a close relationship. Vu Thu Phuong once shared that she always cherishes and admires the star of the movie Tuyet nhiet troi .

The organizers shared that they chose Vu Thu Phuong for the role of ambassador because the supermodel fully meets the factors set out by the program.

"When implementing this project, Vu Thu Phuong was very inspiring. Because she has a great passion for fashion and green living, which is suitable for the program's orientation," said the representative of the Organizing Committee.

Speaking to the media, Vu Thu Phuong said the reason she accepted to participate was because of the meaning the program brought. According to the supermodel, this is not only a fashion event but also an opportunity for her to spread a green lifestyle to the audience.

“For me, this is an opportunity to convey cultural and tourism values ​​to everyone. I hope this green journey will receive support and response," said the coach of The Face Vietnam 2023.

As a project to introduce and update beach fashion trends, VISFest is expected to bring impressive performances by famous supermodels, professional models, beauty queens, and kings.

Audiences will enjoy unique collections from famous designers, staged in open spaces, combining artistic and entertainment effects to create eye-catching performances.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee also organized sideline activities for design students, to create more playgrounds as well as practical learning opportunities, developing design talents in the field of fashion.

Suitable collections will be presented and introduced in the show. Supermodel Nhu Van - taking on the role of fashion director - will coordinate with designers and organizers to create unique catwalks and performances.

Sharing at the event, director Le Viet said that the artist community in the fashion and beauty pageant world is growing strongly. For him, this will be an annual fashion show, notably featuring costumes recycled from plastic to protect the environment.

“We will hold the program on beautiful beaches in Vietnam. But after much thought, we want to make the first season in its birthplace, Ho Chi Minh City. The crew believes that in 5 years, this land will have a massive international seaport worthy of its stature," he said.
