WATCH CLIP:

Today (March 9), An Khanh Ward Police, Thu Duc City, stepped in to verify a clip of a person dressed like businessman Dang Le Nguyen Vu (founder, Chairman and General Director of Trung Nguyen Vietnam Group) participating in a fight at a local coffee shop, as reported by the clip circulating on social media.

Of these, 3 people were directly involved in the brawl at O. Coffee Shop on Tran Nao Street, An Khanh Ward at 4:30 p.m. on March 8. The remaining person filmed and shared the clip on social media.

The police took statements from witnesses and cafe staff to build a case file.

A police source confirmed that one of the two people involved in the fight was not a famous businessman as rumored on social media.

Previously, on the evening of March 8, a person from the O. cafe also confirmed to VietNamNet reporters that the person involved in the fight was not Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu as rumored on social media when sharing the clip. Witnesses at the scene also confirmed the same.

Accordingly, one of the two people involved in the fight dressed similarly to businessman Dang Le Nguyen Vu: white pants, white shirt, hat, and a scarf around his neck...

However, because the clip shared on social media was shot from a distance and the face was not clear, many people who re-shared the clip spread inaccurate information, claiming that it was the "coffee king" Dang Le Nguyen Vu.
