Vietnam has 11 documentary heritages recognized by UNESCO.

The collection of documents by Vietnamese musician Hoang Van (1930-2018) has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Documentary Heritage.

On the night of April 10, at the 221st session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) taking place in Paris (France), the collection of documents by Vietnamese musician Hoang Van (1930-2018) was recognized by UNESCO as a World Documentary Heritage.

The collection has met many important criteria of UNESCO, especially the criteria of historical significance and universal value. This is the 11th documentary heritage of Vietnam to be recognized by UNESCO.
