VIDEO: Container truck bursts into flames on the North Expressway

(NLDO) - While in traffic, a container truck suddenly burst into flames on the North-South highway, causing a long traffic jam.

According to initial information, the container truck fire occurred at around 12:00 on December 22.

The container truck with license plate 15R-165.xx was traveling on the North-South expressway, Dien Chau - Bai Vot section, when it reached the section before Than Vu tunnel (Nghi Loc district, Nghe An ), the tractor suddenly caught fire.

Discovering the fire, the driver quickly got out, tried to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities. However, the fire spread very quickly, engulfing the entire front of the car in just a few minutes.

Upon receiving the news, authorities quickly arrived to regulate traffic and extinguish the fire.

It is known that the fire did not cause any human damage but caused the trailer to be almost completely burned. In addition, the container truck fire caused a long traffic jam on the road for vehicles traveling from Vinh City to Hanoi .
