The Standing Committee of the National Assembly passed a Resolution on administrative unit arrangement.

On the afternoon of April 14, continuing the 44th session, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed and approved the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units (replacing Resolution No. 35/2023/UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the period 2023 - 2030).

At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee listened to Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra present the Government's Proposal, Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee Hoang Thanh Tung present the Summary Review Report on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Next, the National Assembly Standing Committee discussed and voted on the contents related to the draft Resolution on the arrangement of administrative units.

In this afternoon's meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the proposal dossier: Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; establishing a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; and collecting public opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the Report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; and reviewed the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in March 2025.
