Qatari billionaire plays his cards up in the deal to buy MU

According to British media sources, Prince Sheikh Jassim has offered 5.2 billion pounds (equivalent to 6.5 billion USD) to buy back 100% of MU shares from the Glazer family.

Not only that, if they accept this offer, the Glazers will also receive many other financial benefits.

Along with the acquisition of MU, the Qatari billionaire also promised to spend 1 billion pounds to buy players, renovate Old Trafford stadium as well as the entire club campus.

It is understood that this is the fifth and final offer that Sheikh Jassim can make.

In the four previous bids, billionaire Sheikh Jassim wanted to buy back 100% of MU shares for a fee of around 5 billion pounds.

According to research, the Glazer family only accepts to sell ownership of the Old Trafford team for 6 billion pounds.

Therefore, it is likely that this deal will fail again like the previous times.

Currently, Prince Sheikh Jassim is said to be targeting another English team, West Ham, if he cannot buy MU.

The London team is currently attracting the attention of many big names after owner David Sullivan expressed his desire to sell the club.

Back to the MU purchase deal, currently Sir Jim Ratcliffe, an English businessman, is holding the upper hand in the race to own the red half of Manchester.

It is known that if he successfully buys MU, Ratcliffe will allow both Joel and Avram Glazer to stay on the board of directors.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Jassim only wants to buy back 100% of the shares and push the Glazer family out of the Old Trafford team.
