Speaking at the opening of the Spring Press Festival, comrade Ma Van Chuc, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association affirmed that the Spring Press Festival of Tuyen Quang province takes place every Tet holiday, with hundreds of central and local press publications attracting the attention of a large number of people.

2023 is a successful year for the provincial press when Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station won many high achievements at the Central press awards. This is an honor and pride not only for the winning collectives and individuals but also the pride of the Provincial Party Committee and all those working at Tuyen Quang Newspaper.

The press agencies have performed well their functions and tasks in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, guiding public opinion, fighting and refuting bad, toxic and untrue information. At the same time, they have actively innovated strongly from content to form of expression, especially promoting the application of digital technology, building press agencies, press works and communications in a modern and multimedia direction.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the Spring Newspaper Festival awarded the authors and groups of authors who won the National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2023) including: B Prize for the series of articles "Know how to examine, know how to fix, open the people's hearts" by the group of authors Nguyen Thi Hoai Yen, Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyen, Chuc Ngoc Huyen, Nguyen Huy Hoang, Hoang Bich Ngoc; C Prize for the work "Fire in Mong Sinh Long village" by the group of authors Giang Thanh, Sy Tung, Trung Thanh, Quynh Hoa, Provincial Radio and Television Station; awarded the 5th Tuyen Quang Provincial Press Award 2023 to 43 authors and groups of authors whose works won the award, including: 4 A prizes; 9 B prizes; 13 C prizes and 17 consolation prizes.

Continuing new successes in 2024, Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association launched the 9th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award), the 6th Tuyen Quang Provincial Press Award in 2024.

It is known that the Spring Press Festival This year's Spring Press Festival bears a strong mark of creativity and innovation, with elaborate investment in both form and content. This is also an impressive highlight in the series of events celebrating the Party and the Year of the Dragon 2024. Also within the framework of the Spring Press Festival, an art photo exhibition with the theme "Spring Strength of Tuyen Quang" will take place.

The Spring Press Festival will be organized in 2 phases: Phase 1 from February 4 to 8, 2024 (ie December 25 to 29, Quy Mao year). Phase 2 from February 11 to 14, 2024 (ie May 2 of the Lunar New Year).
