Specifically, Phuong Kao found that group activities were no longer suitable and wanted to develop himself on his own path in music. In addition, the male rapper also wanted to spend time on work outside of art.

"The four of us have very different personalities. When working as a group, we have to harmonize and aim for a common color, so each person cannot fully develop their own personality. Therefore, when Mr. Kao shared, we understood and sympathized," said Tho - co-founder of Da LAB.

The group received Phuong Kao's announcement with a light heart. Previously, Phuong Kao had intended to leave the group, but because of Tho's advice, he continued to stay and work. This time, the members respected the group leader's decision.

Currently, Phuong Kao and the remaining 3 members have agreed and reached a consensus on issues related to leaving the group. He left happily, civilly, without conflict.

Quach Van Thom and Long (Emcee L) said: "We are not only comrades in music, we are also friends and brothers in real life. The three first generation members of Da LAB have been together for 17 years. We regret it, but whether Mr. Kao stays or leaves the group will not change that relationship. In the future, Mr. Kao can absolutely make a product with us if he finds common inspiration."

Da LAB will continue to operate with 3 members, ready to welcome new members but not take this issue seriously.

Da LAB was founded in 2007 with 3 members: Kao (Tran Minh Phuong), Tho (Nguyen Trong Duc) and Quach Van Thom (Vo Viet Phuong). In 2017, Emcee L (Nguyen Hoang Long) officially joined the group.

From a band specializing in covering foreign songs, the group quickly became loved by the audience with a series of hits such as: Mot nha, Thanh xuan, Thuc giac, Tu ngay em den, Gac lai au lo, Nuoc mat em lau bang tinh yeu moi ... Although recognized by the audience as the leading band in Vietnam, the members of Da LAB have never admitted this.
