After its release on August 22, the MV “Noi dau giu hoa binh ” by Hoa Minzy received many positive responses from the audience, reaching more than half a million views on YouTube. Previously, the song was performed for the first time by Hoa Minzy on the stage of “Tu hao Viet Nam” with more than 30,000 spectators, leaving many emotions.
The song praises the great sacrifices of heroic Vietnamese wives and mothers whose husbands and children died on the battlefield and was used as the theme song in the movie Red Rain by director Dang Thai Huyen. Many of the lyrics in the song were commented by the audience as "touching the heart".

During the song launch in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Minzy said that during her visit to Quang Tri on July 27, she met and heard the touching story of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Dao Thi Vui. Mother Vui had a husband and only one child who were martyrs (her husband was martyr Le Hoi who died in 1948, her son was martyr Le Thinh who died in 1969).
The pain of a mother in peacetime, constantly missing her husband and children, has urged Hoa Minzy to promise herself that she will have to make a MV "with enough heart and soul" to show gratitude for the great sacrifices of wives and mothers in the home front. When she learned that musician Nguyen Van Chung wrote the music for the movie Red Rain , Hoa Minzy was extremely moved because the two found common ground.
Nguyen Van Chung said he wrote Pain in Peace in 3 hours one morning in Australia. Before that, the musician spent a week researching and watching the movie Red Rain to nurture his emotions.
Musician Nguyen Van Chung revealed that when he witnessed Hoa Minzy recording the song, he could not hold back his emotions. “At the climax, Hoa Minzy collapsed after singing and covered her face, crying. Everyone present in the studio was moved to tears by the lyrics about the pain of the heroic Vietnamese Mother,” he said.

Hoa Minzy confessed that the line that haunted her the most was “Peace has come, my children/ You sleep forever… in the middle of the battlefield!”. When filming the MV, there were many scenes where she could not hide her emotions, tears kept falling because she was so absorbed in the story. The female singer said that this was the product she cried the most in her career.
“I listen to the song every night, sometimes I can’t sleep until 3-4am, every time I listen I can’t hold back my tears. The music and the story of the MV have haunted me for a long time. It can be said that this is the product that makes me cry the most,” Hoa Minzy shared.
The MV was made by Hoa Minzy and director Nhu Dang at Truong Son Cemetery (Quang Tri) and Duong Lam Ancient Village ( Hanoi ) with the participation of actor Phuong Nam (who played Ta in Red Rain ) and People's Artist Nhu Quynh.

Hoa Minzy said that this is the "most expensive" MV in her career because "having a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean you can do it" when the female singer received a lot of support from the Red Rain film crew with a filming set, guns, tanks...
Although the song belongs to the revolutionary music genre, the female singer is very confident that the message and story with deep human values will reach the audience. Her and musician Nguyen Van Chung's goal is to spread positive things, evoke gratitude and good, loving actions to send to heroic Vietnamese wives and mothers.
“Many of my audiences are young, audiences who do not have the conditions to go to the cinema to watch movies, so I really hope that through the MV they will somewhat understand the fierceness of the rain of bombs and bullets, thereby appreciating more the peaceful life today,” Hoa Minzy emotionally expressed.
