Confident and brave female lieutenant
The conversation with Lieutenant Nguyen Le Quynh Thuong (born 2000) - a son of Trung Dinh block, Hung Dung ward (Vinh city) was interrupted for many days, because her practice schedule to prepare for the parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South was extremely tiring, leaving almost no free time during the day.

She said that there were days when she had to wake up at 3am to prepare her belongings and get ready for training. After training, the teachers also organized sports competitions between platoons, endurance races, long-distance races, and many other meaningful activities.
As the days approach the parade, the training schedule becomes even more rigorous. There are days when we return to our rooms at 11 or 12 pm, exhausted but everyone smiles and encourages each other to try harder. The high intensity of training not only helps improve physical strength, but also trains the will and courage to complete the mission. More importantly, everyone understands that this is an honor that not everyone has in life.
Lieutenant Nguyen Le Quynh Thuong
In her story, Lieutenant Quynh Thuong said that she graduated from the Military University of Culture and Arts in 2022, then in February 2023, she had the honor of becoming a soldier at the Capital Command.
In this year's parade, Quynh Thuong was honored to be ranked second in the Female Information Officer Block.

Sharing more about Quynh Thuong, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thin (born in 1976) - Quynh Thuong's mother and Mr. Duong Thanh Canh - Head of Trung Dinh block, Dung Dung ward said that the family and the people of the block were very proud when Quynh Thuong was chosen to participate in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South. It is also a recognition of the persistent efforts that Quynh Thuong has made over the years.
It is known that during her 3 years of high school at Huynh Thuc Khang School (Vinh City), Quynh Thuong was a fairly outstanding student, trusted by teachers to be the class monitor for two consecutive years in grades 11 and 12.
Not only is she a good student, Quynh Thuong also regularly participates in many cultural and sports activities... leaving a good impression on teachers and friends.
Talented and enthusiastic female student
As a 4th year student of the Faculty of Business Administration, Vinh University, Le Phuong Thao (born in 2003) not only stands out in her studies but is also known by the people of Hung Dung ward (Vinh city) as a dynamic and enthusiastic Secretary of the Youth Union of Van Trung block.

When she learned that she was chosen to participate in the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, Thao told herself that she had to try her best, not only to complete the assigned task well, but also to be worthy of everyone's trust.
Entering a formal training environment for the first time, from a student, Phuong Thao had to get used to the high intensity of training and strict discipline, inevitably feeling bewildered. In the following days, when moving to the South for training, the continuous hot weather of 30-37 degrees Celsius made the training even more harsh.

One memory that Thao cannot forget is that during a training session in the heat of nearly 40 degrees Celsius, she fainted due to exhaustion. “That day, the entire platoon of about 20 people also fainted due to the heat,” Thao recalled. But then, with perseverance, courage and timely encouragement from teachers, friends and leaders, she and her teammates gradually adapted to the harsh training intensity.

Ranked at number 8, row 7 in the Northern Women's Militia Bloc, Thao's efforts contributed to demonstrating the sense of responsibility and determination of Nghe An youth in the great national festival.
Proud of the heroic Red village son
Along with Nguyen Le Quynh Thuong and Le Phuong Thao, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (born 2002), in Xuan Nam block, Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, is also a typical face of Nghe An participating in the parade formation, marching in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Currently, Hai Yen is working at the Ho Chi Minh City Military Radio and Television Center.

Sharing about this special journey, Hai Yen emotionally expressed:
“Participating in an important political mission such as the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country is a great honor for me and also the most memorable moment in my youth. The training process lasted for many months, but everyone tried to overcome it, because in their hearts they always told themselves: We must do our best to contribute to the great festival of the country.

What I will always remember is the warm feelings we received from the commanders and the people themselves. Perhaps I and all the officers and soldiers have never received such precious feelings. That gave us the strength to confidently march in the parade.
With each passing moment, I am more deeply aware of the value of freedom and independence. From then on, I always remind myself to continue to try harder and make more efforts to live up to the heroic traditions of my homeland and country. Especially when I am lucky to be born and raised in the heroic land of Red Village"./.
