According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, today (August 17) is the last day the Ministry's admission system runs virtual filtering. After the virtual filtering ends, higher education institutions will determine the benchmark scores and the list of successful candidates.

From 5pm, universities across the country will begin announcing the first-choice admission scores on the school’s electronic information portal and mass media. The deadline for schools to announce the first-choice admission scores is before 5pm on August 19.

Currently, some universities are expected to announce their admission scores this afternoon, such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Banking Academy, Nha Trang University, Van Lang University, etc.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year, more than 733,000 candidates registered for admission to universities and colleges of preschool education, equivalent to 68.5% of the total number of candidates registered for the High School Graduation Exam, an increase of 73,000 students compared to 2023./.
