The subject of national defense and security education is an important content in the training work of the Hanoi Capital Command Military School, aiming to provide students with necessary military knowledge and skills, helping students get acquainted with the military environment, practice regular behavior, obey discipline, form awareness, and a responsible, healthy, and scientific lifestyle.

Over the years, the school has done a very good job of teaching national defense and security education to students of universities and colleges in Hanoi.

Delegates attended the opening ceremony of the contest at the Military School of the Hanoi Capital Command.

This competition aims to train and improve the qualifications, capacity and teaching methods of the staff and teachers teaching the subject of national defense and security education. Thereby, timely drawing experience, supplementing knowledge, gradually improving teaching level, meeting the requirements of the task.

Contestants are teachers and staff selected from teaching departments and units, and comrades who teach many students of the school.

Cadres and teachers go through 4 exam contents: Knowledge, Team Regulation, teaching practice and shooting. This year, the two exam contents of Knowledge and Team Regulation are innovated in the form of multiple choice tests on computers. The questions in the knowledge exam content are quoted from the system of new documents of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense; the General Staff; the Ministry of Education and Training; the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs... Thereby, helping cadres and teachers grasp and apply them in practice in teaching, management and command of units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Colonel Do Hong Thai, Principal and Director of the Center for National Defense and Security Education of the Hanoi Capital Command Military School, requested the Organizing Committee of the contest to coordinate with agencies and units to operate the contest scientifically and closely; to do a good job of propaganda, agitation and create the best conditions for cadres and teachers to participate in the contest. The subcommittees of invigilators and examiners should uphold a sense of responsibility, evaluate the results objectively and honestly; and strictly maintain the contest regulations. Teachers and cadres participating in the contest should uphold a sense of responsibility, continue to take advantage of the time to review and practice, especially the specialized teaching content and practice AK shooting lesson 1; strictly comply with the contest regulations and rules, be calm and confident to perform the contest with the highest results.
