According to regulations, admission scores are calculated based on 3 components: academic score, bonus points and priority points.
In particular, academic scores have a separate calculation formula for 8 admission subjects; priority points are determined by subject and region; and bonus points are considered from personal achievements, social activities, culture - sports - arts with a maximum of 10 points on a scale of 100.



Candidates can look up detailed scoring formulas at the school's admission portal: hcmut.edu.vn/tuyen-sinh and additional score results at MyBK.
The school also said that in the 2025 regular university entrance exam, nearly 48% of candidates achieved a competency assessment test score of 900/1,200 or higher.
Notably, nearly 21% of candidates simultaneously achieved over 27 points in the High School Graduation Exam and over 900 points in the National High School Exam.
In addition, about 3,300 candidates possessing a standard English certificate (equivalent to IELTS Academic from 5.0 or higher) will be converted into 8 - 10 English points in the admission process.
Regarding admission procedures, from 2:00 p.m. on August 23, new students can declare admission information (resume, high school transcript, photo profile, etc.) and track the admission schedule and the first-year citizen activity schedule on the MyBK portal.
On August 25-26, 2025, candidates will directly complete admission procedures at BKA Hall, Campus 1 (268 Ly Thuong Kiet, Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Candidates need to complete admission confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training system and admission procedures at the school before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 to officially become new students of the 2025 course.
