Speaking at the festival, Director of Hanoi City Police Nguyen Hai Trung affirmed that the strength of the great national unity bloc is always one of the most important and strongest factors for the entire Party, people and army to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully carry out the cause of innovation and national development, with the goal of "Rich people, strong country, fair, democratic and civilized society".

This year's festival is even more meaningful, taking place in the context that the whole country and Hanoi are striving to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development in 2024, towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 14th National Party Congress; welcoming the success of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term, contributing to propaganda, education, and strongly arousing patriotism, pride, and the tradition of solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

Reviewing some outstanding achievements of Hanoi City and Me Linh District in the first 10 months of 2024, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung commended the cadres and people of Yen Nhan village, Tien Phong commune for uniting to carry out emulation movements and campaigns with outstanding results compared to the previous year.

Accordingly, the infrastructure is increasingly spacious and modern; the material and spiritual life of the people is improved. The village has no more poor households, the number of near-poor households is only 11. The cadres and people in the village are always united to build a cultural life, participate in disease prevention and control, maintain environmental sanitation, ensure security and order; weddings and funerals are carried out well, the cremation rate reaches 94%.
