Displaying valuable documents about President Ho Chi Minh at "Red Seeds"

On December 19, the National Museum of History coordinated with the Archives Department (Office of the Central Party) to organize the opening of the special exhibition Red Seeds .

The event was held on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the publication of President Ho Chi Minh's Revolutionary Ethics (December 1958 - December 2023), towards the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024).

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Doan - Director of the National History Museum - affirmed that the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam is closely linked to the role and revolutionary career of Leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh, the founder and trainer of our Party.

He selected and nurtured the "red seeds" - the first generation of communists for the Vietnamese revolution, creating the premise for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930).

The Director of the National History Museum said that the exhibition will help the public have access to relics, original documents, and valuable materials and images currently kept at the National History Museum and the Central Office Archives.

The exhibition consists of two parts. Part 1, entitled The one who sows the red seeds, introduces the role of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh in training and sowing the red seeds for the Vietnamese revolution through the work The Revolutionary Path ; political training courses in Guangzhou (China); images, documents, artifacts and stories about the first generation of Vietnamese revolutionary cadres.

Part 2 is Communist Spirit, introducing documents, artifacts, and images about the founding event of the Communist Party of Vietnam, February 3, 1930, associated with the role of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc and the first red seeds - his excellent students.

Documents, artifacts, and images are souvenirs, works, political documents, quotes, and famous sayings full of spirit of revolutionary soldiers in colonial and imperialist prisons are also introduced at this exhibition.

Despite extremely harsh detention conditions and brutal torture, with the slogan "Turn prison into a revolutionary school", in this prison, party members secretly established a Party cell, together exchanged and compiled political theory documents, organized cultural and theoretical classes... making an important contribution to the cause of fighting for national independence later.

Through the exhibition, the National History Museum hopes that people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, will understand more about the contributions and sacrifices of the youth in the first years of the proletarian revolution in our country.

Thereby, expressing gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who devoted their intelligence and lives to the cause of fighting for national independence and unification; contributing to arousing patriotism and national pride of the young generation, determined to study and practice to build and protect the Fatherland.

The Red Seeds special theme opens from December 19, 2023 to March 2024 at the National Museum of History (25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).
