Helicopters and fighter jets practice flying over Ba Dinh Square

At around 11am on August 21, a squadron of aircraft including Mi-17 and L-39NG helicopters, SU-30MK2 fighters, Casa transport aircraft... entered the center of Hanoi to practice in preparation for the performance on September 2.

According to plan, at the parade on the morning of September 2, the Air Defense - Air Force will organize 9 flight groups with 30 aircraft to fly to celebrate this important event.

Many locals and tourists were waiting on the rooftop of a hotel on Thanh Nien Street to watch the aerial performance.

This was the first time the squadron practiced in the center of Hanoi and Ba Dinh Square after practicing in the suburbs. The fighter squadron flew over the Lenin monument.

Many preparations are being urgently carried out and completed to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
